We made a key contact in Panama 🇵🇦
Early in July, I had a major pinch-me moment! Completely by chance, I ran into the former First Lady of Panama in a grocery store. She's been on our list of people to connect with because of her instrumental work in changing Panama's approach to disability rights.
Her efforts have made the country's public institutions, policies, and social programs more inclusive. She is also a current member of the UN's Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. When the universe put her in front of me, I knew I had to introduce myself and tell her all about Tim's Club! She was very supportive and is excited to visit us when we open our space in the future.

Having key stakeholders like Vivian onboard and supporting our vision is incredibly important. Our goal is to continue building our network here in Panama over the coming months.

We're also getting ready to host our next in-person event in Panama. It will be a BBQ, happening on Saturday, September 28.
